Questions
- Is Cogsy an alternative to GoProfit?
- No. GoProfit is a profit analytics app and Cogsy has no profit dashboard, ad spend or order reports. Cogsy manages the product cost that a profit app starts from, so the two are used together more often than one replaces the other.
- Can I use Cogsy and GoProfit together?
- Use Cogsy to keep cost per item right in Shopify and GoProfit for the dashboard. GoProfit's listing says it syncs COGS automatically; check in its settings that the source is Shopify's cost per item.
- How much does GoProfit cost?
- Free plan; paid plans from $29 to $199 a month, plus per-order charges, as shown on its Shopify App Store listing on 8 October 2026. Check the listing for current pricing.
- Does GoProfit keep a history of cost changes?
- GoProfit's listing and help pages do not mention one. Cogsy records every cost as a dated row with a source, and a row is never edited or deleted.
