Cogsy vs BeProfit
BeProfit is a profit analytics app with a live P&L, ad integrations, LTV and retention reports, and views across several shops and platforms. Cogsy does none of that. It manages the cost of each variant, with a history, sources and costs on top.

How BeProfit handles product cost
BeProfit's App Store listing describes a cost breakdown and profit by order and product. Its help centre lists articles on updating product costs, a COGS profile, bulk updates, updates through Google Sheets and a cost sync from Shopify. Those articles could not be opened on the day we checked, so how each method works is not described here.
What BeProfit does that Cogsy does not
- Real-time profit dashboard and live P&L across multiple shops and platforms
- Ad platform integrations and UTM attribution
- LTV cohort analysis and retention reporting
- Profit by order, country, platform and shop
- Amazon as a supported sales platform
- Custom and scheduled reports

Questions
- Is Cogsy an alternative to BeProfit?
- No. BeProfit is a profit analytics app and Cogsy has no profit dashboard, ad spend or order reports. Cogsy manages the product cost that a profit app starts from, so the two are used together more often than one replaces the other.
- Can I use Cogsy and BeProfit together?
- Use Cogsy to keep cost per item right in Shopify and BeProfit for the profit reporting above it. BeProfit's help centre lists a cost sync from Shopify; confirm it is on in your account.
- How much does BeProfit cost?
- From $49 to $249 a month, as shown on its Shopify App Store listing on 8 October 2026. Check the listing for current pricing.
- Does BeProfit keep a history of cost changes?
- BeProfit's listing and help pages do not mention one. Cogsy records every cost as a dated row with a source, and a row is never edited or deleted.
